Is my preferred item in stock?

In normal circumstance, orders typically ship within 1 business day after receipt of your order.  We update our website frequently and remove items from the site that are not readily available.  So if it is featured on the website, it is typically ready to ship. In the event your order cannot be shipped complete within five working days, NIKAIA will notify you via email that certain items are on backorder. If the estimated ship date does not meet your needs you may cancel your order via email (your credit card is not charged in any event until date of shipment).

However, we get new collections from our designers typically twice per year. On those occasions, we will offer the new looks for sale about two weeks before inventory arrives from Europe. Those items can be ordered and reserved ahead of time, but credit cards are never charged until actual ship date. For example, new spring designs will go on sale in mid-January for shipment in early February, in time for delivery by Valentine’s Day. 

If you prefer shopping in person and would like to know if a local retailer carries our lines please contact us. We’ll direct you to the nearest store if one is available.

What type of payment do you accept?

1) Credit Card Charges: NIKAIA accepts valid Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards for online orders. We also process payments through Paypal as an alternative option.

Credit cards are charged to your account on the date of shipment for all standard orders. All special orders, including shorter/longer necklaces, rings made to size, etc. are charged at the time the order is placed with NIKAIA. Special orders are not returnable/refundable.


How do you ship my order?

We ship orders via U.S. Postal Service priority mail with a tracking number, but without requiring a signature. If you prefer delivery with required signature, an additional cost $2.00 will be applied, so please contact us before choosing this method. Whichever shipment choice you make, the USPS system will provide you with a link to track your package online. 

We charge $7.00 for U.S. Postal Service standard shipping on sales under $100.00 to an address anywhere in the USA. Customers have the option to select Second-day for $15.00 and Overnight service for $40.00.

Shipping is free on all sales over $100.00 shipped to USA locations using U.S. Postal Service. Customers have the option to select Second-day for $15.000 or an Overnight service for $40.00. Shipments sent to an international location will be charged $25.00 for boxes up to 2lbs, and more for heavier shipments.

Merchandise is packed in individual Signature gift boxes or Pouches and carefully wrapped in bubble wrap for added protection. Boxes are custom-sized and your items will be well-protected.

What is your return policy?

Please inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery. Our customers have 5 days from date of receipt to return merchandise that does not meet their expectation. The exception is earrings, which are not returnable. Merchandise must be unworn with the tags attached. We cannot process returns or exchanges for items that were not purchased directly from NIKAIA. Special orders are not refundable.

Upon inspection of the returned goods, NIKAIA will refund the cost of returned item(s) plus applicable sales tax (if any), less any original shipping charges, by crediting your charge card, or issuing a company check.

No merchandise will be refunded if traces of make-up, hairspray, sunscreen or perfume are visible on the piece. Merchandise will be shipped back to the customer.


What special care for my jewelry is needed?

Please be aware that perfume, hairspray, makeup and sunscreen will damage most jewelry components.  And, leaving your jewelry in direct sunlight for extended periods of time may cause bleaching. Please exercise care with your jewelry!


Is my payment information secure?

Your privacy is NIKAIA’s top priority. We do not release your information to any other parties. Additionally, all credit card orders are processed via a secure server using industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to allow for the encryption of orders processed over the Internet. Do you charge sales tax?

As NIKAIA sells only through the Internet to individual consumers, we do not currently charge sales/use tax on orders for customers residing in any state other than Maryland, our “nexus” state.
